Membranes For Road Drainage

Membranes are an incredibly useful piece of equipment when it comes to road drainage. Flooding of the roads from excess water can lead to accidents, so it is important to have a system in place to allow for redirection of this water. Often, roads will have curb side channels that will direct water into a nearby soakaway, placed away from the road. This soakaway crate will be wrapped in membrane, either permeable to let the water infiltrate back into the ground at a manageable rate, or impermeable membrane, where it will be held in the soakaway until it can be pumped into another system, often the mains system.
